X.comOn Sunday, July 27, Ill be riding up Cypress Mountain as part of the Capilano Volkswagen Cypress Challenge, raising awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research and care at BC Cancer.
This isnt just another climb for me.
Cycling has become a space where I reconnect with myself, build resilience, and move through lifes challengesone pedal stroke at a time. This time, Im taking that purpose and putting it toward something bigger.
Like many of us, Ive witnessed people I care about navigate the emotional and physical weight of a cancer diagnosis. Its a journey that demands courage, strength, and support.
This year, over 800 people in BC will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer can be challenging to detect early, and treatment options are still limited. Its a complex disease that often arrives without warning, and for many, the journey can feel uncertain.
But I believe in the power of collective intention, in the strength of community, and in the breakthroughs that can come when we bring compassion, research, and hope together.
