Participants are encouraged to go at their own pace. This is a community fundraising ride, not a race! However, if you would like to challenge yourself, all participants will receive a timing chip, and awards are presented for top fundraising and best time by age category.

During registration you have two options:

  1. Pay the registration fee, with no fundraising minimum. Please note that registration fees are not eligible for a tax receipt.
  2. Waive the registration fee, with a commitment to fundraise $150

Participants can choose to join as an individual, team captain or team member.

Please note that all registered participants will receive a fundraising page. If you pay a registration fee, fundraising is optional!

Whatever option you choose, we encourage you to set an attainable fundraising goal in support of BC Cancer Foundation’s mission of raising funds for vital pancreatic cancer research.

We will monitor the Air Quality Health Index to determine how the air quality may impact the event. Final decisions relating to the Capilano Volkswagen Cypress Challenge could be made as late as Sunday morning as the air quality changes daily, sometimes hourly. Please refer to our Air Quality Guidelines.
