On Sunday, July 30th, I am cycling in the Capilano Volkswagen Cypress Challenge presented by GlotmanSimpson Cycling, raising awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research and care at BC Cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is difficult to detect at an early stage and is often resistant to treatment.

My dear brother-in-law Patrick Mcsweeney was diagnosed on Thanksgiving Day and passed away before Christmas. He was such a gem of a man who had a happy heart and shared his love and enthusiasm for life with everyone he touched. I miss him very much
